Google Ads audit · Online stores

Google Ads is claiming more sales than you made.

A fixed-price review of your conversion tracking, attribution, campaign structure and catalog. You get a score and the fixes that matter most, in priority order and written so your team can apply them.

Fictional store, illustrative figures. A real audit finds where the gap comes from.
01 — Scope

Four places where ad budgets leak.

Most of what we find only shows up when Google Ads, GA4 and your store's real orders are compared side by side. The Google Ads dashboard alone can't show it.

AConversion tracking
Does Google Ads see every sale once, and only once?
  • Google tag and GA4 installed only once
  • Duplicate purchase events from apps and custom code
  • Google Ads conversion tag and enhanced conversions
  • Consent Mode v2 implementation (technical check)
BAttribution
Do the sales they claim add up to the sales you made?
  • Google Ads and GA4 conversions against your store's real orders
  • Duplicate primary conversions in Google Ads
  • Attribution windows and view-through conversions
  • Auto-tagging and consistent UTMs
CCampaign structure
Is the budget set up so the algorithms can actually learn?
  • Budget split across too many campaigns
  • Existing customers left inside prospecting
  • Performance Max buying your own brand searches
  • Best sellers capped by budget; search terms that spend without selling
DCatalog
Are the ads built from accurate, current product data?
  • Disapproved products in Merchant Center
  • Price and stock out of sync with the store
  • Out-of-stock products still receiving spend
  • Titles, product identifiers and country feeds
02 — Deliverable

A report written to be acted on, not filed.

  1. A score for each area

Out of 100 overall, so you see at once where the problems are.

  2. What it's costing you

An estimate of the monthly spend going to fixable problems.

  3. The fixes that matter most

Ranked by impact and effort. Each says what's wrong, why it costs money and how to fix it, step by step.

  4. A 30-minute call, if you want it

To go through anything that isn't clear once you've read it.

04 — Why it isn't free

A free audit is usually a sales pitch.

Most agencies give audits away to win a monthly retainer, so the report tends to end with "hire us". This one is the product. The scope is fixed, the price is fixed, and every fix is written so your own team or current agency can apply it.

If you later want us to manage your ads, the €149 comes off the first invoice.

You should be able to fix it without us. If you can't, the report isn't good enough.

05 — Who does it

Specialists, not a generalist agency.

We specialise in Google Ads for ecommerce. We manage high-budget accounts in international markets, in highly competitive sectors, and we've worked as consultants for companies across many industries.

Our day-to-day is launch strategy, building automation to optimise accounts at scale, and improving ROAS month after month. The audit applies the same checks we run on the accounts we manage.

You deal directly with the person doing the work. The same person reviews your account, writes the report and answers your questions. No account managers, no juniors.

06 — Questions

Before you ask.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to Google Ads, GA4 and Google Merchant Center. We can't change anything in your accounts.

Do you need access to my online store?

No. An export of orders and revenue by day and channel is enough, without any customer data.

What if I also advertise on Meta?

For now the audit covers Google Ads only: campaigns, conversion tracking, attribution and Merchant Center. We don't review Meta campaigns.

Is it worth it for a small store?

It's built for online stores already spending on ads every month. If your spend is too low for the audit to pay for itself, we'll say so before you pay.

Do you check cookie and privacy compliance?

We check that Consent Mode v2 is technically implemented and working. That's a technical review, not legal advice on privacy compliance.
